Ullswater Sunset Paddle

With being located by Ullswater it makes sense to venture out onto the water in the summer months and experience the changing light over the surrounding mountains as it is simply spectacular! The last few hours of daylight are amazing with the colour changes the sunburst effects and the wildlife coming out to play - especially the bats feeding on insects as they perform their nocturnal aerial dance.

Being able to absorb all of these amazing episodes from the cockpit of our sea kayaks or the seat of an open canoe is breathtaking. Come and join us for a 'Sunset Paddle on Ullswater'. Distant Horizons provide all equipment and exceptionally talented instructors to help take you onto the water for a memorable and very enjoyable sunset journey. The trip includes stopping for a barbecue on a secluded beach before returning to the start point. We offer trips either using open canoes or using our single and tandem sea kayaks with the duration being around 3 hours.

• £35 per person - Minimum of 4 people, maximum of 8.
