Lake District Open Canoe Tours & Journeys
Our open canoes are great to tour the lakes in comfort suiting the expert and novice alike. With our professional and friendly guides & instructors you can enjoy a canoe trip whether you are a group of friends, relatives or work colleagues. Our canoe journeys can be from a short 3-4 hours session to a multi day trip, perhaps involving other activities, over night camps, or team building sessions. We can even raft our open canoes together to offer additional comfort and stability and sail this catamaran configuration down-wind should the conditions allow.
As we are located at Watermillock we generally run all of our sessions on Ullswater, the second largest lake however we can mobilise to other areas and lakes should you have a specific requirement. There are no set dates for our lake tours and journeys - just decide when suits you and your group, let us know and we will do the rest! We offer:
- Half Day Ullswater Explorer Tours (min 4 people) £40 per person
- Full Day Ullswater Explorer Tour (min 4 people) £75 per person includes lunch, snacks and all drinks.
- Family 'fun' canoe tours 3 hours £100 (2 adults and up to 4 children)
- Paddle to the 'Pub' canoe journey - (min 4 people) £45 per person.
- Paddle from Glenridding to Pooley Bridge (where the pub is) - well earned drink included.
- Canoe and Abseil Journey - (min 4 people) 4 hour trip £40 per person
