This is the ultimate multi-activity challenge event and a true adventure journey through the heart of the Lake District.
This fantastic challenge makes the most of what the Lake District has to offer by traversing the National Park by boat, foot and bike, with an abseil and cliff jump mixed in. See some of the most stunning locations whilst challenging yourselves in a rewarding and exciting event. So, forget so called 'Commando' Challenges and get stuck into a real physical challenge, as you journey through the Lake District pushing your physical and mental abilities whilst undertaking a host of adventurous outdoor activities.
The Lake District Ultra challenge event starts at Coniston in the South West of the Lake District and finishes by the village of Pooley Bridge at the North Western corner of the National Park. The minimum group size for a Lake District Ultra is 12. For groups smaller than this please take a look at our Ullswater Ultra.
The route can be reversed for groups wishing to stay in Coniston and therefore finish close by.
We invite people to bring their own bikes for personal comfort, however we can arrange hybrid bike hire at an additional cost.

Due to the lengthy duration of the event we advise people to stay in the local area the night before and after, and for those looking for a self-catering option we have our own lodge available for private hire. Our Lakeland Lodge provides basic but comfortable communal accommodation for up to 12 people. For groups interested in alternative accommodation we can source a variety of options.
