The Lake District is the perfect venue for scrambling offering vast quantities of quality rock ridges, buttresses and gullies.  Our 2 day Lake District courses provide training and instruction in a variety of techniques associated with scrambling, enabling you to get the most out of our courses on this exciting activity. 

Scrambling is moving over terrain efficiently and safely using at times minimal equipment and techniques and our Lake District courses open a whole new world to many people who have only hill walked by traditional routes in the past.  Our Lake District courses cover scrambling techniques developing people’s confidence to negotiate ridges, gentle buttresses and gullies safety.  Generally scrambling routes are easier than strict rock climbs but are still graded to indicate severity.  Many scrambles can be very exposed so a good head for heights on our Lake District courses is essential.
