Fell Walking

An outdoor activity we offer based in the Lake District is Fell Walking. The Lake District is the perfect location for fell walking and is an activity that all ages can enjoy. One of the great things about fell walking is the magnificent scenery to enjoy especially in the Lake District.

Our fell walks range in terms of suitability. We have more complex routes for those more experienced walkers and easier routes for beginners and families. However, we would advise all participants to have a good level of fitness.

We provide:

  • Qualified and professional guide
  • Waterproofs if required

As with any outdoor activity at the Lake District, it is important to be prepared for fell walking as the weather conditions are susceptible to quickly change. We recommend you take extra layers of clothing just in case. Suitable footwear is also a must; you cannot go wrong with a good pair of walking boots. It is also advisable to be wary of your route prior to setting off so you have a basic understanding of where you need to be going.  Other items we suggest you include in your rucksack would be:

  • Torch
  • Food and drink
  • Mobile phone
  • Map and Compass
