Distant Horizons have purchased 6 brand new Wilderness Systems Northstar tandem sea kayaks from Carlisle Canoes (now owned by Brookbank) in September which are a welcome addition to our already extensive fleet of open canoe and sea kayaks. With already owning 12 Wilderness Systems 'Tempest' single sea kayaks that are superb to paddle and provide amazing comfort we felt the only choice for double sea kayaks was the Northstars. These boats will be used regularly on our Lake Journeys, 3 Lakes Challenge Event and we also have a few new trips being planned including The Great Glen Expedition, Ben Alder Exporer and a few others. |
