Lake District Scrambling

Scrambling involves the ascent of mountains using a combination of climbing and walking techniques, often avoiding the busy routes into the mountains by using more technical approaches. This exciting activity adds a new dimension to mountain tours with many famous routes used to see some of the best views in the UK.

We run a number of 'classic' guided mountain scrambling tours in the Lake District throughout the year, ideal for small groups. From the well known Pinnacle Ridge on St Sunday Crag, to Slab and Notch on Pillar Rock, we offer a selection of routes to suit all levels.

We provide:

  • Ropes
  • Petzl Helmets
  • Petzl Harnesses
  • Boots
  • Mountain Lite & Event Fabric Waterproofs
  • Mammut Rucksacks

Our experienced mountain instructors will guide you in complete safety providing you with an exceptional mountain experience. Either chose your favourite classic scramble or let us choose the most appropriate route to best suit your ability and experience.
