Established in 1993 Distant Horizons is a professional Lake District based company providing challenge events, endurance races, team building events, outdoor activities & courses, overnight expeditions & journies and equipment hire. The company is based in Watermillock in the beautiful Ullswater valley, which hosts the second largest Lake in England.
Distant Horizons operate from a 30 acre estate with excellent facilities including a purpose built indoor climbing and training centre, a professional training room with full audio visual facilites, a fully fitted kitchen and toilets and showers. New for June 2013 will be the completion of our new Alpine Style bunkhouse providing group accommodation complete with excellent facilities.
