Penrith Mountain Rescue Team have launched an appeal to raise £110,000 to buy essential life saving equipment, technical mountaineering equipment and to replace their ageing Land Rovers of which one is 22 years old! Distant Horizons are pleased to announce that they will be running an abseil off the Civic centre on Saturday 27th April on the team's behalf providing expert instruction, equipment and insurance. |
