The Windermere 21 Kayak Challenge

New for 2010! At Distant Horizons we are always looking to add exciting and new challenges to our existing portfolio and this year we have added The Windermere 21. This kayak paddle challenge starts at the North end of the lake by Waterhead and follows the shoreline of the lake in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise route around the lake amounting to 21 miles in distance!

This challenge is run over a full day and we use either our single or tandem sea kayaks (or a combination of both) and these majestic boats will cruise through the water with ease after you only requiring a short training session. We can run this event for a total of 24 people (12 single sea kayaks and 6 tandem sea kayaks)

We provide:

• Pre-event training
• All equipment including dry tops/bottom
• Lunch, drinks and snacks all day long
• Logistical support
• Qualified instructors who are with you every paddle of the way!

• Completion certificate
