The 'Wainwrights' are 214 fells located within the Lake District highlighted in a series of 7 beautiful and originally hand drawn guide books. Many people have completed all of these and Ewan Beverley is hoping to complete all of these during 2008 and 2009 with anticipated completion sometime in June 2009 which would mean he would be only 7 years and 8 months old! Whilst undertaking this ardous task Ewan wanted to raise some money for a worthy cause and a local childrens hospice was found called Eden House. Ewan will be accompanied by his dad Jason, a mountaineering instructor who owns and runs Distant Horizons UK Ltd on all peaks. |

 Ewan's Wainwright Challenge aims to raise £2140.00 for a local Carlisle charity - Eden House Childrens Hospice. If you would like to get involved as a sponsor you can choose a peak for a minimum donation of £10. Once your chosen peak is completed Ewan will send you a mountain report of the ascent with a summit photo. |
